Chief Operations Officer
IllumiNative is a dynamic, groundbreaking and rapidly growing organization that is chartering a next phase of ambitious, strategic growth that will enable the organization to significantly scale up its infrastructure, capacity, programming and impact. The organization seeks a highly skilled, passionate and innovative Chief Operations Officer (COO) with a track record of transformational leadership results to oversee and manage: day-to day operations, team development and IllumiNative’s Advancement and Research | Evaluation Programs. The COO will also lead planning for strategic growth, financial management and will partner with the Executive Director and Chief Impact Officer on all major initiatives, including the development and implementation of our capital campaign over the next 3 years.
Director of Advancement
IllumiNative is a dynamic, groundbreaking and rapidly growing organization that is chartering a next phase of ambitious, strategic growth. The organization is ready to significantly scale up its infrastructure, capacity, programming and impact to build power for Native peoples to advance justice, equity and self- determination. The organization seeks a highly skilled, passionate and innovative Director of Advancement with a successful track record that can lead IllumiNative’s advancement strategy including building out our advancement infrastructure and team as well as develop and implement a capital campaign over the next 3 years. The Director of Advancement will be a key partner of the Executive Director, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Impact Officer as we create an ambitious plan to fund and sustain our growth and impact for Native peoples.
Director of Communications and Storytelling
Reporting to the Chief Impact Officer and serving as an integral member of the IllumiNative team, the Director of Communications and Storytelling will be responsible for leading IllumiNative’s strategic communications goals and projects. The Director will employ a variety of platforms to achieve communications and storytelling goals including traditional and social media, print materials, presentations, multimedia, diverse art forms among others. In addition, this position will assist in leading a culture of storytelling for IllumiNative and will supervise creative team members. The Director of Communications and Storytelling will serve as a key leader in developing and implementing our national narrative change strategy and honing our tone and voice in all external communications. The Director will be responsible for implementing processes like a communications plan, social media plan, and storytelling calendar to enhance and promote IllumiNative’s brand, strategic approach and narrative change goals.
Program Associate, Campaigns and Organizing
Reporting to the Campaigns and Organizing Manager, the Program Associate serves as an integral member of the IllumiNative team and works across IllumiNative’s Campaigns and Organizing program to facilitate and steward high impact campaigns to build power for Native people. The Program Associate is responsible for organizational and partnership duties, manages stakeholder relations, and supports the efforts of our Campaigns and Organizing work. The Program Associate will assist in identifying and analyzing critical short term and long-term barriers and opportunities for narrative change, work to bring together diverse stakeholders, conduct outreach on behalf of the IllumiNative team, and foster a collaborative environment.
